Republican Organization holds annual Pig Roast Fundraiser
The Palatine Township Republican Organization (PTRO) is holding their annual pig roast fundraiser on Sunday, August 9th.

The Palatine Township Republican Organization (PTRO) is holding their annual pig roast fundraiser on Sunday, August 9th starting at 12:30 PM with the pig being served at 2:00 PM at Deer Grove East Forest Preserve in Palatine.
The pig roast will be held at Deer Grove East Forest Preserve Grove 3 off of Dundee Road just west of Hicks Road. A plate of roast pig, side dishes and a drink ticket is $20.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. Tickets are available at palatinerepublicans.org or at the picnic.
“Come out, visit with fellow Republicans and help us raise money to elect Republican candidates,” said Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Committeeman. “You will also be able to talk with local, national as well as county Republican officials. Children will be entertained by a variety of games and activities including a bounce house and face painting.”
Congressman Peter Roskam will be attending the event. A number of Palatine representatives and candidates will also be at the picnic. Representative Tom Morrison, Senator Matt Murphy, Commissioner Greg Gosling, Commissioner Dan Patlak, and Cook County GOP Chairman and Palatine Committeeman Aaron Del Mar will be in attendance. Also attending the picnic will be Palatine Township Trustees Bill Pohlman, Kevin McGrane and Art Goes.
Founded in 2010 by newly elected Palatine Township Republican Committeeman Aaron Del Mar, PTRO coordinates the Republican Party’s efforts in the township. Led by Del Mar, President Kevin McGrane and Deputy Committeeman and Executive Director Bebe Sutton, PTRO promotes the foundational principles of the Republican Party, namely fiscal responsibility, personal accountability and limited, transparent government, and works to elect Republican candidates who espouse those principles.
The Palatine Township Republican Organization holds their monthly general meeting on the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 AM at the PTRO office at 765 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.
