The Rotary Club of Palatine, with their largest fundraiser of the year Oktoberfest quickly approaching, is looking to the community for new members to help them run Oktoberfest as well as the many other community and philanthropic projects that they conduct throughout the year.
“Each year at our Oktoberfest celebration we meet many people who wish they had joined the Rotary Club of Palatine in time to help run the Festival,” said Matt Bickel, Rotary Club of Palatine Membership Co-Chair. “We have so much fun with Oktoberfest that people see our enthusiasm and want to get involved. We’re inviting anyone who may be interested in joining the Rotary Club of Palatine to come to one of our breakfast meetings and meet some of our members.”
According to club Membership Co-Chair Ken Chalmers, “those interested in learning more about the Rotary Club of Palatine are welcome to join us on Tuesday mornings for breakfast at the Red Apple Pancake House. We are always seeking men and women to build goodwill in our local community as well as around the globe. If you would like to attend a meeting email us at info@palatinerotary.com and we’ll make the arrangements.”
