Some Outraged Over Non-Refundable Fee to See Santa at Woofield
Would you pay $10 to see Santa? The fee will allow you to skip lines and could go toward a photo package during Santa visit at Woodfield.

This holiday season, those wishing to skip the lines to see Santa at Woodfield Mall can do so ... for a price.
And that $10 non-refundable price tag to set up an “appointment” with Santa has some outraged.

“A traditional family visit to go see Santa – to charge for it is un-Christianlike. And it’s a Christian holiday. And they’re making so much money off families in that mall that they can’t give back a little bit? It’s wrong. It’s wrong,” Mary Jo Shepherd of Schaumburg told CBS Chicago.
The mall says you can use the $10 toward a photo package of your visit with Santa. You can book your appointment online.

Santa will make his grand appearance at Woodfield Thursday evening. Visits with Santa will continue through Dec. 24 at the mall.
