The month of October is dedicated to the Rosary, which is when the youngest students at St. Theresa School (STS) in Palatine received their first rosary. “October is the perfect opportunity to teach our youngest students how to pray the rosary in their own lives,” said Patti Trojan, one of the 3 preschool teachers at STS.

Fr. Tim Fairman, Pastor of St. Theresa Parish, joined the children in church as they did the sign of the cross, counted the beads, and prayed the Our Father and Hail Mary together. Fr. Tim explained how the colors of the beads represent the different prayers.
