TEEN / ADULT FEMALE SELF-DEFENSE SEMINAR starting Weds. Jan. 22, 2025

If you want to protect yourself or someone else, and learn some no-nonsense, effective self defense techniques, look no further and come join us for (4) weeks on Wednesday evenings from 8 to 9 pm January 22 through February 12, 2025. This is our Female Teen / Adult Self Defense Seminar held at JP Wood Martial Arts in Palatine, IL. Come hit a pad, strike a bag, and learn practical and effective techniques to release from chokes and grabs from Grand Masters Jan and John Wood. Topics to be covered include:

• Where, how, and what to hit
• What are your body's natural weapons
• How to react if you find yourself in a dangerous situation
• Awareness, avoidance, and controlling your body's reaction
• How to manipulate, not out power
• How to release from common holds and chokes, and how best to defend yourself

With years of experience in self defense and martial arts, Grand Masters Jan and John Wood teach numerous self defense seminars each year. This martial arts team is highly regarded and well known in the martial arts community for their knowledge and effective teaching style. The seminar is conducted in an atmosphere where you will work hard, learn lots, and actually have fun!
JP Wood Martial Arts is conveniently located at 249 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL (in shopping plaza with Ace Hardware). Preregistration is highly recommended. Seminar is open to females ages 13 and older. No experience needed. Participants should dress in casual exercise clothes. Cost of the seminar is $55.00.
