Unidentified Palatine Man Killed After Metra Train Hits Him
The accident happened Friday night near Hicks Road and halted train traffic.
An unidentified Palatine man died after being hit by a Metra train Friday night, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The man was struck at about 9:30 p.m,. by a Union Pacific Northwest train near Hicks Road, and train traffic was suspended in both directions until about 11 p.m.
Police only described the man as being a pedestrian from Palatine, according to the Tribune.
