1 Found Dead In Hickory Hills Home, Homicide Investigation Underway

HICKORY HILLS, IL — Hickory Hills police are investigating a possible domestic-related homicide where a deceased male was found Friday morning inside a home.

Around 9:45 a.m. officers were called to a single-family home in the 8700 block of 81st Court for a report of a deceased male inside the residence. They found the man inside who police believe was the apparent victim of a homicide.

A person of interest, who police said was another male living at the home, was taken into custody. Officers had visited the home on prior occasions for domestic disturbances, said Deputy Chief Adam Gulczynski, of the Hickory Hills Police Department.

Hickory Hills police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are actively investigating.
