2 Charged In Young Mom's Shooting Death At Bank Drive-Thru In Worth
Tamara Jailyn Johnson, 22, and Jason Jerry Joseph Johnson, 23, have been charged with the first-degree murder of Jonnie Angel Klein.

WORTH, IL — A man and woman have been charged in the shooting death of a woman at a bank drive-thru in Worth on Saturday afternoon..
The suspects, Tamara Jailyn Johnson, 22, and Jason Jerry Joseph Johnson, 23, both of Harvey, were taken into custody Sunday. Both have been charged with first-degree murder after an extensive and thorough investigation, police said.

Around 3 p.m. Saturday, Jonnie Angel Klein, 31, was using the ATM drive-thru at the Chase bank branch, 6838 W. 111th St., Worth, when police said one of the suspects shot her once in the chest during what was reportedly a robbery gone bad.
The pair are both due for a detention hearing Wednesday afternoon at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Booking photos are not available at this time. Worth police said the two may be tied to other crimes in the Chicago area and northwest Indiana.

Klein was a single mother of two young children and the main caregiver for her mother who is undergoing treatment for cancer. Visitation and funeral services are set for Saturday, Nov. 11, at Thompson Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. (95th Street and Central Avenue), Oak Lawn.
A GoFundMe has been established for Klein to help her family with funeral expenses and support of her children at “In Memory of Jonnie Angel Klein.”
