A 21-year-old and two high school seniors were charged with aggravated unlawful use of weapon following a birthday party at an Alsip motel.
Alsip police were called to break up a party at the Days Inn, 5150 W. 127th St. around 11:16 p.m. April 2.
When police went to the room, a guest opened the door and then closed it. Officers said they could smell burnt cannabis wafting from the room

“You spent your 21st birthday at the police station,” Cook County Judge Peter Felice said. “Saturday night with a gun at a motel, something’s not right.”
The assistant public defender told the judge there was one gun and three people. There were also other party guests in the house.
Prosecutors said the men had no prior criminal background.
Judge Felice released all three on an I-bond. The men are to remain on electronic home monitoring except to go to school or work, and submit to random drug testing.
All three are to return to court May 2 in Bridgeview.
