3 Inmates Stabbed in Gang-Related Fight at Cook County Jail
The inmates were hospitalized for their wounds.
Several inmates at Cook County jail were hospitalized Wednesday after being stabbed inside facility, FoxChicago reports.
The gang-related fight in Division 11 started at about 8:30 a.m., according to Cook County sheriff’s spokeswoman Sophia Ansari.
The three wounded were in stable condition and taken by ambulance either to Mount Sinai Hospital and Stroger Hospital.

The injuries were not consider life-threatening and no jail staff were injured.
