UPDATE: Police Locate Missing Palos Park Man

PALOS PARK, IL, UPDATE, 10:15 p.m. -- Palos Park police have located 71-year-old Augustinas Meilkas. who went missing Saturday afternoon. Augustinas was taken to Palos Park Community Hospital to be checked out. Family members are with him.

Original story -- Augustinas Meilkas was last seen around 2 p.m. in a highly intoxicated state in his resident in the 11600 West block off 123rd street in Palos Park. He was reported missing Saturday at 5:20 p.m.

The missing man is described as white, around 6 feet tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, brown.gray hair. Augustinas is reported be wearing Golf logo pajama pants, slippers and a navy blue t-shirt.

Police said Augustinas has no cell phone or car keys. He was not carrying an ID or wallet. Augustinas is also known to frequent the Lemont area after he has been drinking.

A police search with K9s and heat sensors continues.
