Alsip Man Tied To Cell Phone Store Shooting In Palos Hills: Police
An Alsip man is tied to a shooting in April in which multiple shots were fired at a storefront, Palos Hills police said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — An arrest has been made in a shooting that happened in April at a Palos Hills mobile phone store, police said.
Mohamad O. Adwan, of Alsip, was taken into custody on June 13 and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, a class 1 felony.

In the late afternoon of April 8, police said a man, later identified as Adwan, entered Elite Mobile, 7233 W. 103rd St. While inside the store, police said Adwan got into an argument with an acquaintance and left the store.
Palos Hills police allege that Adwan met up with a group in the parking lot. Multiple shots were fired at the acquaintance while he was still inside the store. No one was injured and there were no customers in the store when shots were fired.
