Palos Heights police were selected as one of six finalists. Residents and non-residents can help by voting for the Palos Heights Police Department.
“All command staff go through advanced training,” Palos Heights Deputy Chief John Paritske said. “I want to send a newly promoted sergeant to the course, and getting the most votes from our community would provide us this scholarship and would cover the cost of a course, which costs $5,000.”
The Elevate Blue Scholarship is sponsored by Huuso Bio, an IICR crime scene and biohazard environmental remediation company.
