Andrew HS hosts 2 elected officials for Principal for the Day

Part of the Illinois Principal Association's Principal for A Day program, State Representative Margo McDermed and State Senator Mike Hastings both visited Andrew High School. Both had the opportunity to visit a variety of classes, to speak with social studies students about government, and to meet in a small group with senior leaders.

"These were great opportunities to showcase our students and staff and to provide a comprehensive look at successful schools for successful students," said Superintendent Dr. James M. Gay. "I am grateful to everyone at Andrew who opened their classrooms or stopped in the hallway to talk with our elected officials. I appreciate that Representative McDermed and Senator Hastings took time to visit our schools, as well!"
