Police believe the two men met Evrard at the restaurant when they got into an altercation. All were told by staff to leave the restaurant. As the three were leaving, Evrard fired his gun at the two men when they were in the parking lot, said Deputy Chief Adam Gulczynski, of the Hickory Hills Police Department.

Felony charges were approved by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office when the two victims refused to cooperate, police said. Evrard was taken into custody on Wednesday.
