FRIDAY, DEC. 5
Theft
A male juvenile was arrested and charged with theft for allegedly stealing the phone from a Stagg High School student, according to Palos Hills police reports.

School officials contacted police at about 2 p.m. Dec. 5, after a female student’s phone was taken from her coat pocket, the report stated. Security video footage showed the male juvenile lifting the phone from the the girl’s coat, the report added.

Violation of Order of Protection
Kenneth Cornwall, 48, of Blue Island, was arrested and charged with felony violation of an order of protection after sending text messages and making threatening phone calls Dec. 2, according to Palos Hills police reports.
Detectives took Cornwall in to custody Dec. 3 in the area of 10300 South Harlem Avenue, the report stated.
Criminal Trespass, Violating Parole
Donald Studnicka, 26, of Palos Hills, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and violating parole after a Dec. 3 incident, according to Palos Hills police reports.
Police responded to a call at about 6 p.m. about a suspicious person in the 8500 block of West 101st Terrace and found Studnicka sitting in a hallway of an apartment building in that area, the report stated. The building manager told police that Studnicka has an order not to trespass on their land, the report added.
MONDAY, DEC. 1
Battery
Joseph D’Amico, 35, of Blue Island, was arrested and charged with battery and two counts of resisting arrest after a Dec. 1 altercation at a bar and with police, according to a Palos Hills police report.
Police were called to Durbin’s, 10154 S. Roberts Road, at about 1:30 a.m. because of a fight between D’Amico and another man, the report stated. D’Amico—who employees claimed caused the fight when the other man tried to stop D’Amico from hitting a woman—had left on foot when police arrived, the report added.
Police stopped D’Amico across the street from the bar, and he began fighting with officers, the report stated. D’Amico was eventually subdued and taken in to custody, the report added.
