Do you have a couple of hours to volunteer, but don't want a permanent commitment? Do you know a teen needing community service hours? McCord House, a wonderful local treasure, is hosting its annual B&W fundraiser on October 6. Of course there are a lot of administrative details to handle before then from stuffing and stamping invitation envelopes to processing raffle ticket requests. Whether you have an hour one day or two hours a week for a month, the McCord Gallery and Cultural Center could use your help. The event, at Crystal Tree Country Club, is themed "McCord...the roaring 20s...and all the Jazz." You know it's going to be fun.
