<p>The annual Shamrock n Roll event is set to take place Saturday March 9, from 7-11 p.m. at Palos Country Club.  The event features raffles, silent auction, food, drinks, and music. The event is sponsored by the Palos 118 PFA, with proceeds benefiting educational programs for District 118 students.  Price at the door is $55.  Please contact Jill Fiscelli 630-347-7371 for more information.</p>

The 2K interactive, meditative walk is designed to be fluid throughout the day - no start time, no pressure. Throughout the week, students work closely with experienced directors and staff who know how to challenge developing players while also making the experience positive and enjoyable. The camp is designed to help students strengthen fundamentals, listen more carefully, play more confidently in an ensemble, and deepen their overall appreciation for music.</p>
<p>Just as important, the <a href="https://www.swcommunityband.com/bandcamp" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><strong>SWCCB Summer Band Camp</strong></a> gives students the chance to connect with other young musicians who share their interests. For many campers, it is not only a week of music-making, but also a chance to build friendships, gain confidence, and be part of something exciting and creative. The atmosphere is welcoming, energetic, and supportive, making it a great fit for students who want to improve their playing while enjoying the camaraderie that comes from making music together.</p>
