Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department Crowns City's Best Free Throw Shooters!
Palos Heights residents competed for a chance to be crown free throw champ and win a turkey!
On Saturday November 17 local parent/child teams competed in a free throw competition to settle the areas best free throw teams. Winner in each age cater gory won a frozen Thanksgiving turkey donated by the Palos Heights Jewel-Osco.
Over 30 teams competed for a chance to win the bird. Each team took 3 shots in 3 rounds, the overall added up score decided the winner. Father/Daughter duo Mike and Kristen Kamholz had the high score of 49 to win the 11/12 age group.

5/6 year olds-Mike and Molly Boyle- 46 points
