Get your rolling pin ready for the South Side Pie Challenge

Are you the keeper of Gramma's famous pie recipe? Have you developed a secret, can't miss pie crust trick? Maybe you just like to eat pie? The November 3 South Side Pie Challenge is for you. This event promises to be fun and tasty, all while raising money for food pantries in Hyde Park and Kenwood.Who will judge your baked creativity? How about Steve Dolinsky, ABC 7 Hungry Hound, John Meyer, founder of BJ’s Market & Bakery, Tatia Beckwith, principal at Ray Elementary School, and Kristen Esterly, Medici on 57th. The South Side Pie Challenge will be held on Saturday, November 3 from 1 - 4 p.m. at Ray Elementary School, 5631 S. Kimbark in Hyde Park (Chicago).
