Call for Entries for 2017 Juried Community Art Exhibition, Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery Moraine Valley Community College

The Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery at Moraine Valley Community College presents the Gallery 2017 Juried Community Art Exhibition from June 1-August 1, 2017. Artists 18+ and living within 50 miles of the gallery are invited to submit artwork for jurying. The 2017 Juror is sculptor Raul De Lara. This exhibition showcases the local communities artists and awards cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place along with 3 honorable mention awards. Awards will be announced at the opening on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 1-3 pm.

All are welcome and light snacks will be provided.

Please note these important dates and information:

Drop off: Saturday, May 27, 2017
Artists are asked to drop off their artworks to the gallery located in the F Building at Moraine Valley Community College. Submissions are open to all mediums with exceptions noted on the application, and artists may submit up to 2 artworks each with a $15 entry fee. Please make checks payable to Moraine Valley Community College.

Notification of Acceptance: Monday, May 30, 2017
Artists will be notified of their acceptance into the exhibition on via email.

If your work is not accepted into the exhibition, the pick up date will be Wednesday, June 1 from 4-7pm.

Opening: June 3, 2017, 1-3pm
