Carla Carroll (nee Hedberg),

Carla was a loving mother and wife who would have done anything for her children and family, a proud registered nurse, and a courageous woman that battled and beat pancreatic cancer. Carla is survived by her husband, Patrick Carroll; her sons, Dan and John Carroll; her parents, Hank and Alma Hedberg; her sisters, Jean Regan and Joan Higgins; thirteen nieces and nephews; and her favorite dog, Lucy. Carla was a friend to many and loved by all.

A wake will be held at Kerry Funeral Home located at 7020 W 127th St. in Palos Heights, IL. The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, August 31st between the hours of 3:00 pm and 8:00 p.m with a Memorial Service at 7:30 P.M.

Carla’s ashes will be spread by her two sons and husband at her favorite place in the world, Green Lake, WI on Saturday September 2.
