Christmas Punch Arrest

Palos Hills arrested a Chicago man accused of punching and choking a Good Samaritan on Christmas Day. Curtis Pleasant, 23, was charged with battery. A woman was walking out of Holiday Banquets in Palos Hills after a Christmas party when she saw a couple arguing in a car. When she asked the woman if she needed help, Pleasant allegedly punched and choked her. Curtis has a court hearing on Feb. 26 in Bridgeview.

Phone Harassment

A man going through a divorce reported to police on Dec. 26 that his soon-to-be ex-wife has been harassing him. Both are going through a divorce. The man told police his wife has been calling him continuously after he told her to stop.

Order of Protection

After he was served with an order of protection, Marek Gill, 39, of Palos Hills was spotted at the address he was told to stay away from, reports said. Gil appeared for a bond hearing at 26th and California on Dec. 30. He is currently being held on $10,000 bail.

Home Alone

Danielle Cornwall, 39, of Freeport, is charged with child endangerment. Police said she left her young son alone in a home in the middle of the night on Dec. 30. She is due in court on Feb. 26 in Bridgeview.

Hit By Vehicle

A man reported being hit by a vehicle around 3:30 a.m. Jan. 1. When police went to the 8500 block of 103rd Terrace the vehicle was no longer on the scene. Police said the man refused medical attention. An investigation is pending.
