PALOS PARK, IL -- Palos Park police are investigating an early morning smash and grab burglary that occurred at the Shell station located at 123rd Street and 80th Avenue. Four suspects are believed to be involved. Police are investigating whether the incident is related to others recently reported in the south and west suburbs.

Around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said a suspect smashed the glass entry door to the Shell station with a rock or brick. The perpetrator let himself and his pals into the store. Store security cameras captured the suspects rifling through the store and swiping cigarettes and a donation jar, police said.

The suspects are described as four younger African American males. They were driving a blue, four-door Grand Prix. Police said they were out in less than two minutes.
