Alejandro Aguirre, 31 | Cook County Sheriff

Chicago Ridge, IL, June 15, 2016 -- Chicago Ridge Police working with confidential sources arrested two alleged dealers in controlled drug buys, prosecutors said Tuesday in court.
Mohammad Al-Sayad, 28, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
Police monitored Al-Sayad during a hand-to-hand drug transaction around 10 a.m. June 13, in a parking lot in the 10400 block of South Ridgeland Avenue, the prosecutor said.
Using marked money, a confidential source purchased 100 Vicodin from Al-Sayad for $400, according to the charges.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Al-Sayad, of the 800 block of West Buena on Chicago’s North Side, had a bachelor’s degree in business administration and purusing his master’s. This is his first arrest.
The judge set Al-Sayad’s bail at $30,000. He is also to submit to random drug testing while his case is pending.
Al-Sayad is due back in court July 12 in Bridgeview.
A second arrest netted a Posen man, who the prosecutor said sold a half ounce of cocaine for $500 in another controlled buy also on June 13.
According to the charges, Alejandro Aguirre, 31, was monitored by Chicago Ridge police making the drug sale at the Shell station parking lot at 6358 W. 111th St.
Aguirre was charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
Prosecutors said that Aguirre served a concurrent 3-year sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections stemming from an aggravated battery conviction in 2011 and a aggravated criminal sexual abuse conviction from 2008.
Another person with the same last name but different birth date is listed as a non-compliant sex predator at the same address in Posen, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
The judge set Aguirre’s bail at $50,000. Aguirre is due back in court July 12 in Bridgeview.
