Cops Find Switchblade, Stun Gun And Knife In Traffic Stop
A 19-year-old man was arrested after Palos Hills police found a stash of weapons during a traffic stop, reports said.
PALOS HILLS, IL -- Assorted weapons were found in an Orland Park man’s car during a traffic stop, reports said. Rashed Alhindawi, 19, was charged with aggravated speeding and unlawful use of a weapon. He was also cited for various traffic violations.
Around 9:30 p.m. April 2, Palos Hills police stopped Alhindawi for allegedly driving more than 35 mph in the 11000 block of Southwest Highway. According to the report, officers found a switchblade, stun gun and butterfly knife. Police said Alhindawi was driving with expired registration and did not have valid insurance. Alhindawi is set to appear in court April 26 in Bridgeview.
