D230 Foundation Final Event set for April 4

NCAA semifinal games on big screens, food and drink, attractions and more! Proceeds support Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools

The District 230 Foundation will hold its inaugural D230 Foundation Final Event on Saturday, April 4. With the NCAA semifinal basketball games on three big screens, unlimited food and drink, attractions and more, it is sure to be a great time. Tickets are just $25 per person.

Doors at Elements Banquet at Homewood Suites (16245 South LaGrange Road, Orland Park) open at 4 p.m. and close after the second game.

“The event promises to be a fun evening with big screen TVs covering the semifinal NCAA action,” said D230 Foundation President Ann Oliver. “Anyone over 21 is welcome. Guests can come and go as they wish.”

In addition to the Final Event, a Super Raffle has exciting odds and prizes, and will be the highlight of the halftime during the second game. Only 1,000 Super Raffle tickets will be sold making the odds of winning 1 in 50. The top prize is $10,000 and $22,500 in cash prizes will be awarded. Raffle tickets are $50 each.

Oliver added, “We have an energetic committee comprised of volunteers from all three schools. This is an event that is fun to plan and will make an exciting sports event even better.”

All proceeds support innovative learning at Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools through District 230 Foundation grants and special programs. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization therefore contributions are tax deductible in accordance with the law.
