Dancing Man Arrested For Cocaine: Prosecutor
Worth man told police "I'm just dancing around because I'm feeling myself," prosecutor said.

WORTH, IL -- A Worth man dancing in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant was arrested after he was found to be carrying cocaine, prosecutors said. Jason Domagala, 24, appeared in front of Cook County Judge Michael Kane on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Domagala was also charged with a disorderly conduct misdemeanor.
According to the charges, Worth police were dispatched around 9:43 p.m. April 4 to the Subway restaurant at 6647 W. 111th St. for a call of a man dancing in the parking lot. When they arrived, Domagala was allegedly boogying in the parking lot. Officers said Domagala was sweating profusely despite the cold temperatures. His pupils also appeared dilated. Asked if he was okay, Domagala allegedly replied “I’m just dancing around because I’m feeling myself.”
Employees told police that Domagala was banging on the windows for ten minutes. When an employee left the restaurant, the prosecutor said Domagala ran toward her yelling indiscernibly. Police reportedly found a bag of white powder on Domagala, which later field tested positive for cocaine. The cocaine weighed a gram.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Domagala works as a landscaper and factory worker.

“I’m a little reluctant to set an I-bond because of your criminal background,” Kane said.
Domagala was released on a $10,000 I-bond. The judge also ordered him to submit to random drug testing. Domagala was also told to stay away from Subway. His next court date is April 23 in Bridgeview.
