JUNE 7

Domestic Battery

William J. Weaver, 29, of the 12400 block of South 71st Avenue, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and interference with reporting domestic violence after a June 7 incident, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Weaver is accused of beating a member of his household at about 2:02 p.m., the report stated. He also is accused of trying to stop the victim from calling the police about the incident, the report added.

Weaver was held on no bond, and his court date is June 8.

JUNE 6

Criminal Trespass to Property, Disorderly Conduct

Juan M. Casillas, 45, of the 4900 block of East 73rd Avenue, Merrillville, Ind., was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property and disorderly conduct for making unwanted visits to his ex-girlfriend, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Casillas is accused of going uninvited and unwanted to his ex-girlfriend’s apartment June 6 in the 12500 block of Navajo Drive and hiding in the bushes, the report stated. Casillas eventually fled in his car after being confronted, but he then returned to the scene later, the report added.

Casillas was held on no bond, and his court date is June 8.

JUNE 4

DUI

Zaid N. Joudeh, 22, of the 5500 block of West Oakdale Drive, Oak Lawn, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, improper lane use and disobeying a traffic control device after a June 4 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police pulled over Joudeh at about 10:27 p.m. after he ran a red light and was weaving from side to side in the 7600 block of West 135th Street, the report stated. During the stop, the responding officer reported that Joudeh appeared to be impaired from drug use, the report added.

Joudeh was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is July 10.

MAY 30

Criminal Damage to Property

Marvin E. Aguilera, 21, of the 8500 block of Scheer Drive, Tinley Park, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property after a May 30 incident, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Aguilera was accused of kicking the victim’s vehicle during a dispute at Trio Bar, 11845 Southwest Hwy., the report stated.

Aguilera was held on $1,500 bond.

MAY 29

DUI

Mohamed A. Abdulrab, 21, of the 7900 block of 101st Street, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and improper lane use after a May 29 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police pulled over Abdulrab at about 11:36 p.m. after he crossed over the lane lines in the 6800 block of West College Drive, the report stated. During the stop, Abdulrab appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests, the report added.

The driver eventually gave a breath sample, which registered a blood-alcohol content more than 0.08, which is the legal limit, the report stated.

Abdulrab was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is July 10.

MAY 27

Endangering the Life of a Child

Sergio Garcia, 21, of the 13900 block of Walter Drive, Crestwood, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, obstructing identification, endangering the life of a child, driving without a valid driver’s license and driving without insurance after a May 27 hit-and-run accident, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Garcia was seen as the party responsible for a hit-and-run car accident in Crestwood, the report stated. After Palos Heights police found him at about 4:41 p.m., in the 6300 block of West College Drive, they detected an odor of alcohol on his breath and noticed he had minor injuries from the crash, the report added. Garcia was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to the report.

Police also found a child in Garcia’s vehicle who was not secured in a safety seat, the report stated.
