Driver of Suspicious Car Threatens Residents With Hammer: Report

Residents call police when the same car kept circling by their house, reports said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Palos Hills police responded to the 8800 block of 100th Place for a disturbance around 6 p.m. Aug. 13. Residents called 911 when a suspicious car kept circling by their house, reports said.

The residents noticed the same car passing by their house. When the car stopped in front of their house, police said the residents confronted the driver. According to the report, words were exchanged and the driver took off.

When officers arrived, the car returned. Police said the driver was holding a hammer and yelling out the window. The residents and driver did not know each other and no criminal complaint was signed.
