DUI

Amy Ritter, 33, of Palos Hills, was arrested and charged her with driving under the influence, driving without insurance and improper lane use after a March 15 traffic stop, according to Palos Hills police reports.

Police pulled over Ritter at about 8:30 p.m. after observing her driving southbound in the 9900 block of 88th Avenue, leaving the roadway on the right and crossing into the oncoming lane, the report stated. During the stop, Ritter slurred her speech, and a strong alcohol odor was detected by police, the report added.

Ritter was taken in to custody after refusing to perform field sobriety tests at the scene, the report stated. Her court date is April 20.

FRIDAY, MARCH 13

Car Vandalized

The vehicle of a resident in the 9900 block of South 84th Terrace was vandalized March 13, according to Palos Heights police reports. A long scratch was made down the side of her car, the victim told police.
