Paul B. Collins, 57, of the 4200 block of West 126th Street, Alsip, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after a Jan. 25 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police pulled over Collins at about 12:25 a.m., in the 6500 block of West College Drive, for lane violations, the report stated. According to police, Collins showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests at the scene.
Collins was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is March 11.

DUI, BAC over .08
Pamela S. Kanger, 44, of the 16600 block of Theresa Lane, Tinley Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.08 and speeding after a Jan. 25 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Kanger was clocked going over the speed limit at about 2:32 a.m., in the 12900 block of South Harlem Avenue, the report stated. Police reported that Kanger displayed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests at the scene, the report added. Once in custody, Kanger submitted to a breath test, which registered over the legal limit, according to the report.
Kanger was held on $3,000 bond, and her court date is Feb. 24.
SATURDAY, JAN. 24
DUI
Karalyn A. Bryant, 24, of the 8400 block of South Mansfield Avenue, Burbank, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08, speeding and improper lane use after a Jan. 24 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police clocked Bryant traveling 50 mph in a 35-mph zone at about 4:19 a.m., in the 12000 block of South Harlem Avenue, the report stated. Once stopped, Bryant failed field sobriety tests, and at the police station, she submitted to a breath test that registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.154, the report added.
Bryant was held on $15,000 bond, and her court date is March 19.
FRIDAY, JAN. 23
DUI
Eric N. Bell, 37, of Gary, Ind., was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08, fleeing and eluding a police officer and improper lane use after a Jan. 23 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police pulled over Bell at about 10:55 p.m., in the 12800 block of South Harlem Avenue, for weaving and striking the curb twice while traveling southbound, the report stated. Bell fled from the scene at a high rate of speed, and police pursued until the 13000 block of Harlem Avenue, the report added.
After police caught up with him, Bell failed field sobriety tests, the report stated. In custody, Bell submitted a to breath test that registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.245, the report added.
Bell was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is March 11.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 21
DUI, No Insurance
Cariann Lyons, 43, of the 5500 block of West 129th Place, Crestwood, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance and improper lane use after a Jan. 21 traffic stop, according to Palos police reports.
Police pulled over Lyons at about 12:36 a.m., in the 13100 block of South Harlem Avenue, for improper lane use and noticed she had been drinking alcohol, the report stated. Lyons was taken in to custody after failing field sobriety tests at the scene, the report added. Lyons then refused to submit to chemical testing at the station, the report stated.
Lyons was held on $3,000 bond, and her court date is March 11.
DUI
Michael S. Castro, 27, of the 13100 block of Hoyne Avenue, Blue Island, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08, driving without headlights when required and failure to wear a seatbelt after a Jan. 21 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police pulled over Castro at about 5:21 a.m., in the 12600 block of South Harlem Avenue, for driving without headlights and not wearing his seatbelt, the report stated. Castro showed signs of alcohol intoxication and failed subsequent field sobriety tests, the report added. At the station, Castro provided a breath sample over the legal limit, the report stated.
Castro was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is Feb. 5.
TUESDAY, JAN. 20
DUI
Cheryl L. Slavin, 26, of the 8500 block of Wheeler Drive, Orland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08, speeding, improper lane use and driving without insurance after a Jan. 20 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
During the stop at around 2:45 a.m., in the 13000 block of South Harlem Avenue, Slavin showed signs of alcohol intoxication and failed field sobriety tests at the scene, the report stated. A breath sample from Slavin registered over the legal limit, the report added.
Slavin was held on $3,000, and her court date is Feb. 5.
DUI
Michael P. Kennedy, 56, of the 4500 block of West 124th Street, Alsip, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended registration after a Jan. 20 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police pulled over Kennedy at about 10:13 p.m., in the 6300 block West 127th Street, for a non-functioning registration light, the report stated. During the stop, police determined Kennedy had been drinking, but he refused to submit to field sobriety tests at the scene, the report added.
Kennedy was taken in to custody and held on $3,000 bond. His court date is March 11.
