FRIDAY, APRIL 24

DUI

Sandra M. Pogoda, 25, of the 5100 block of Deblin Lane, Oak Lawn, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane use after an April 24 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Pogoda was clocked by police at about 12:28 a.m., going 51 mph in a 35-mph area of the 6600 block of West College Drive, the report stated. During the stop, Pogoda failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, the report added. Pogoda refused to take a breath test at the station, according to the report.

Pogoda was held on $3,000 bond, and her court date is May 22.

DUI

Katie L. Gleeson, 20, of the 15700 block of Foxbend Court, Orland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and improper lane use after an April 24 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police noticed Gleeson crossing over the double yellow lines in the 12700 block of South Harlem Avenue at about 3:07 a.m., the report stated. Gleeson also was clocked traveling 49 mph in a 35-mph zone, the report added.

During the stop, Gleeson appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests, the report stated. A breath test she took registered a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08, the legal limit, the report added. Gleeson’s exact BAC was not included in the police report.

Gleeson was held on $3,000 bond, and her court date is June 2.

THURSDAY, APRIL 23

DUI

Jessica A. Herrera, 25, of the 10300 block of South Ridgeland Avenue, Chicago Ridge, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and speeding after an April 23 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police clocked Herrera at about 4:08 a.m., going 49 mph in a 35-mph zone in the 12300 block of South Harlem Avenue, the report stated. Herrera appeared intoxicated at the scene and failed field sobriety tests, the report added.

Herrera also took a breath test that registered a blood-alcohol content over 0.08, the legal limit,, the report stated. Herrera’s exact BAC was not included in the police report.

Herrera was held on $3,000 bond, and her court date is May 8.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22

DUI

Michael J. Castiglione, 38, of the 6000 block of West Lake Bluff Drive, Tinley Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a traffic control device and driving without insurance after a four-vehicle crash April 22, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Castiglione was taken into custody at the accident scene, the 13100 block of Harlem Avenue, after showing signs of intoxication and telling police he had been drinking, the report stated.

Castiglione was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is May 22.
