Elderly Woman Dies In Palos Hills House Fire

PALOS HILLS, IL -- A 70-year-old woman died in a house fire in Palos Hills. Police said fire crews showed up at a home in the 8900 block of 98th Place around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 20. Three occupants were inside the house. Police said two were escorted out of the home. The third, Marilyn Riley, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner did not release a cause of death. The first is still under investigation.
