Enjoy 'Chops With Cops' This Friday With Palos Park Police

PALOS PARK, IL — Residents are invited to “Chops and Cops” this Friday, Aug. 16, hosted by Palos Park police. The “meat and greet” allows residents to mingle with Palos Park police officers, who’ll be firing up the grills from 6 to 8 p.m.

“This community outreach event is a huge success and a great opportunity for residents to meet the men and women who protect our community,” police commissioner Dan Polk said. “They’re a good group of highly motivated, well-trained community servants of whom we are extremely proud.”

“Chops and Cops” will be held at the Palos Park Police Department, 8999 W 123rd St. The event is free and open to all community members.
