The Southwest Symphony will perform Tchaikovsky! at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, at Trinity Christian College, 6601 W. College Dr., Palos Heights. Julliard-educated Elizabeth Roe is the soloist for Concerto No. 1, the same concerto performed by Van Cliburn when he won the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow at the height of the cold war. It is one of the best known and virtuosic of all concerti. Waltz from Eugene Onegin and Symphony No. 4 will also be played.
