Update: Walgreens Re-opened after Inspection of 'Foul Smell'

A Palos Park Walgreens store is reopened late Tuesday afternoon, after an HVAC check searching for the source of a ‘foul smell.’

Reports of a ’foul smell’ at Walgreens in Palos Park have shut down the business temporarily.

Palos Park police and fire departments were called to the store at 13023 S. La Grange Road Tuesday afternoon. Fire staff checked for the source of the smell.

No injuries were reported, and the store is closed temporarily while the source of the smell is identified.
