Juvy Damages Fence
Police charged a male juvenile with criminal damage to property, violating curfew and possession of smoking materials after he was caught damaging a fence while fleeing officers. The youth was observed following a resident into a building around 2 a.m. Jan. 25. When police arrived the youth fled on foot and was later caught damaging a fence on the property. The case was forwarded to the juvenile state’s attorney at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
Friend Swipes Wallet (Allegedly)
A resident called to reported a stolen wallet to police around 5 p.m. Jan. 27. The resident said that after a friend left their residence around 5 p.m. Jan. 27, they couldn’t find their wallet. They think their friend stole it.
Drive-Thru Accident
A Hometown man was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident. Peter Radochonski, 43, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license suspended and driving without insurance. Police said Radochonski drove through a restaurant’s drive-thru at a high rate of speed, hitting another car. After talking to the occupants in the other car, Radochonski fled the area when he was told that police were on their way. Radochonski is due in court March 19 in Bridgeview.
