PALOS PARK, IL -- Residents turned out on a hot summer day to honor those who gave their lives for their country at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial on the Palos Park village green. The well-attended ceremony featured veterans from the Orland-Palos Reber-Tesmond Memorial VFW Post #2604.
