Hickory Hills Man Charged in Parking Lot Pummeling

PALOS HILLS, IL -- A Hickory Hills man was charged with battery after he roughed up a female acquaintance in a parking lot, Palos Hills police reports said.

Palos Hills police charged a man with battery after he roughed up a female acquaintance in a parking lot, reports said.

Officers were dispatched to an address in the 9900 block of Hill Terrace, Palos Hills, around 5 a.m. Feb. 4. When police arrived, they learned a man, later identified as Michael Wojcik, had been arguing with a woman in the parking lot.

Police said Wojcik got physical with the woman, causing redness and bleeding. Wojcik is scheduled to appear in court March 3 in Bridgeview.
