Holiday in the Heights Welcomes 70 Vendors To Kris Kringle Market

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Palos Heights will officially kick off the holiday season with Holiday in the Heights, featuring a greatly expanded Kris Kringle Market this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and Dec. 3. The holiday festivities will be held inside a lighted and heated tent at the Palos Heights municipal parking lot, 12217 S. Harlem Ave. Enjoy live holiday music, crafts, food and drink, festive lights and more.

Over 70 vendors have been lined up offering holiday crafts, food and more. Stroll along Olde Palos Shopping Centre where unique local shops and restaurants await. The fest also features a food and beverage tent, offering beer and wine. Kids can visit Santa and work on crafts and other fun activities.

Hours for the two-day winter frolic are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, starting with a tree-lighting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. The holiday festival continues from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, starting with a parade at 10:45 a.m.

Holidays in the Heights is sponsored by many local businesses, including Kerry Funeral Home, CNB Bank & Trust, HR, Running for Kicks, Palos Heights Ace Hardware, Erik Nelson State Farm and Reggio Academy.
