Hooligans Target Palos Park Homes With Smoke Bombs: Police
Palos Park police investigating spate of vandalism and late night trespassing by older teens.

PALOS PARK, IL -- A large group of older teens are believed to be responsible for a vandalism spree late Saturday evening. The youths reportedly hurled blue smoking bombs at several residences. The incident is the latest in a “pattern of damage” recently occurring in Palos Park.
Palos Park police are following up on the spate of vandalism reported Saturday evening in an area bounded by Route 45 and 104th Avenue, and 125th Street and Wild Cherry Lane. The homes targeted Saturday seem to be those of Stagg seniors, police said.

Detectives are currently reviewing area surveillance videos for voice pattern recognition, as well as interviewing neighbors where late night trespassing has been taking place in the area. Home surveillance video shows eight to ten white males lighting smoke bombs and throwing them at houses.
