How Much Is That Doggie On The Internet?

PALOS HILLS, IL — A Palos Hills resident lost $400 trying to buy a dog off the Internet, reports said.

Around 7:15 p.m., July 6, officers went to a home in the 9900 block of South Hill Terrace to investigate a theft by deception. The resident told police they contact a dog breeder on the Internet and put $400 down on a dog.

Police said the dog breeder hasn’t been heard from since.
