Job Title: Head Tumbling Instructor

Job Description: 
The tumbling instructor is responsible for facilitating and implementation of a comprehensive recreational tumbling program.
Minimum Qualifications: 
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Strong background in tumbling/gymnastics
3. Teaching or coaching experience is preferred
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop class lesson plans to achieve the goals for program
2. Communicate with participants, parents, co-workers and supervisor
3. Set up and take down of program equipment, along with preventive maintenance
4. Make recommendation for program enhancements
5. Design a tumbling showcase once per year.

Assistant Dance Teacher
Location: Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department
Status: Part Time 
Time/Day: Week nights and some weekends
Pay Rate: $8.25
Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking an Assistant Dance Teacher to assist in dance classes. We are looking for someone who is available on some week nights and weekends. This person must have experience in dance and enjoys working with children of all ages. Other responsibilities would include, lead certain warm-ups or exercises when requested by the teacher, keep an eye out for potential hazards like untied shoe laces or poor spacing/awareness while children are dancing, offer encouragement to dance students during the class, be a source of positive and enthusiastic energy in the class, help with taking attendance, correct students and/or assist a struggling dancer as the teacher leads the class, and work seamlessly with the teacher by anticipating his/her needs so that together you can provide a fun and supportive learning environment for younger dancers. This person would also assist in the annual Dance Recital in the spring. All applicants should submit an application to Lauren Marino Program Supervisor. Have reliable transportation 
Ideal candidate will have outgoing and positive personality 
Previously have worked with pre-teen and teens is preferred 
Work Schedule: Teen Center is open on school days, 3-6pm. Staff will work 3-9 hours a week.
