On a recent Sunday, the Leo Club from Shepard High School volunteered their time to help at the South Suburban Humane Society.
Students and faculty sponsors Jennifer Klein and Erin Quinlan walked dogs and played with cats so that staff at the shelter could tend to other needs.
Leo Club, the high school affiliate of Lions Clubs International, performs a wide variety of service activities in communities throughout the south suburbs.
