Little Learners Preschool Hosts Open House

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- Little Learners Preschool will be holding an open house on Saturday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon. Parents of 3 and 4-year-olds are invited to meet the teachers and tour the facility at the Palos Heights Recreation Center, 6601 W 127th St, Palos Heights.

Palos Heights Parks and Recreation’s Little Learners offers an enhanced and unique preschool curriculum in a caring and nurturing environment. The preschool curriculum promotes a strong academic foundation, superior social skills and a healthy lifestyle. The program encourages creative expression through dance, singing art, yoga, daily aerobics and even sign language. Children receive lots of personal support and attention to build confidence. Parents will be part of the home-school learning connection to continually develop their child’s skills at home.

Little Learns enjoy the benefits of exercise and team play in the recreation center’s full-size gym. Children play basketball, hockey, soccer and more. Children have lots of fun on the playground and explore nature in the large park area. Special guests include Little Learners’ very own music teach, aerobics and dance instructors, a master gardener and coaches.

Resident registration for Little Learners starts at 8:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29, with open registration starting at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30. Register online or in person at the Palos Heights Recreation Center. For more information call 708-361-1807.
