Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Sirdejohzn Kwame Webster, 26, of the 17300 block of Arrowhead Terrance, Oak Forest, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with one headlight after a Jan. 3 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police stopped Webster at about 8:09 p.m. in the 7100 block of West 131st Street because he was driving with only one working headlight, the report stated. During the stop, a background check revealed Webster had an active arrest warrant issued by the Will County Sheriff’s Department, the report added.
When Webster was taken into custody, police found a loaded handgun on his person, and drug paraphernalia was found in his vehicle, the report stated.

FRIDAY, JAN. 1
DUI
Michael Ayala, 28, of the 4800 block of South Springfield Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, failure to signal, speeding and illegal transportation of open alcohol after a Jan. 1 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police pulled over Ayala at about 10:50 a.m. for speeding and failing to use his turn signal in the 12800 block of South Harlem Avenue, the report stated. A background check revealed that Ayala’s license was suspended, and he couldn’t provide proof of insurance, the report added.
During the stop, Ayala showed signs he had been driving under the influence, and police found an open container of alcohol in his vehicle, the report stated.
He was held on $3,000 bond, and his court date is March 2.
DUI
Rosa M. Chapa, 68, of the 6500 block of West 167th Street, Tinley Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after a Jan. 1 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police pulled over Chapa after she was seen weaving in and out of lanes at about 1:37 a.m. in the 13300 block South Ridgeland Avenue, the report stated. During the stop, police noticed Chapa had been drinking, and she failed field sobriety tests, the report added. She refused chemical testing once at the station, according to the report.
Chapa was held on $1,000 bond, and her court date is Feb. 17.
DUI, Speeding
Viktoriya Musharenko, 27, of the 17200 block of South 71st Court, Tinley Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after a Jan. 1 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Police clocked Musharenko at about 3:03 a.m., going 54 mph in a 35-mph zone in the 13100 block of South Harlem Avenue, the report stated. During the stop, Musharenko appeared to have been drinking, and she failed field sobriety tests, the report added. She refused chemical testing once at the station, according to the report.
Musharenko was held on $1,000 bond, and her court date is Feb. 17.
