Man Beaten with a Metal Pipe Outside Woman's Home: Police

The man had just driven a woman home, when two men jumped out of a car and attacked him, according to reports.

A man was attacked and beaten with a pipe by two other men Sunday after driving a woman home March 22, according to Palos Hills police reports.

The victim told police that when he reached the woman’s residence in the block of 8400 W. Zermatt Drive at about 10:30 p.m., a vehicle blocked his way, the report stated. Two jumped out of the blocking car and began hitting him with a metal pipe, the report added.

The victim was taken to and treated at an area hospital, the report stated.

Currently, police are investigating suspects who are acquaintances of the woman the victim was driving home, the report stated.
