Justice police stopped a vehicle later in the day with four occupants, including Stubenfield. Police said the other people in the vehicle identified Stubenfield as the shooter.

Witnesses reported hearing five shots, but only one shell casing was found in the street. Prosecutors said that Stubenfield made admissions to shooting the gun twice in the air.

Bail was set at $150,000 and Stubenfield is to remain on home confinement if he is able to make bond.

His next court date is Oct. 20.
