Man Hits Brick Wall After Driving Through 2 Fences and Striking Car: Prosecutors
Man accused of "knowingly" damaging property in Crestwood.

A man was arrested after an apparent mishap while driving under the influence in Crestwood, prosecutors alleged.
Antonio Smith, 41, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on three felony counts of criminal damage to property and misdemeanor DUI.
Crestwood police said that Smith appeared to be intoxicated after he “knowingly” drove through two chain link fences and struck another vehicle before coming to a stop after he hit a brick wall around 3 p.m. Oct. 3.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Smith worked as a law clerk in a downtown law firm.
Bail was set at $10,000, with 10 percent to apply. Smith also is not allowed to drive while his case pending.

Smith’s next hearing is Oct, 21 in Bridgeview.
